Sexual Abuse
No one deserves to be hurt or touched in a way that makes him/her feel uncomfortable whether by a stranger, an acquaintance or family member. You have the right to say no. If you are hurt or touched in a
sexual manner, you may be a victim of sexual abuse.
IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT! You don't have to keep this secret anymore. If this is happening now or happened in the past, it is important to tell someone who will listen and believe you. You may have mixed feelings about the other person involved and about
telling someone. Talking with someone can help you sort out your feelings and find ways to begin to help yourself.
In any emergency, call 911. For rape or injuries,
go to a hospital emergency room.
