Teen Dating Violence/Abuse
If you are a victim of dating abuse, you could be at risk of physical harm. If you are an observer, you can locate resources to help a friend or family member.
IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT. It can be difficult to talk with someone, you may feel uncomfortable letting someone know, but it is important to let someone you trust and who will believe you know what is happening to you.
Dating violence can be physical, but it can also be emotional, psychological, verbal and/or sexual.
Dating violence/abuse is illegal, and even though you are a teenager, you are able to find information and get help. Tell an adult you trust about what is happening, and use the following resources to get more information and help.
If you are in immediate danger, or in an emergency, call 911.
